Have you ever been curious about the middle ages?
Have you ever wondered what life would be like if you grew up during that time?
There was a gatehouse and drawbridge with many arrow slits in the walls so your father could defend your home if he was attacked.
Well, let me tell you – life would’ve been a whole lot different back then!
Tapestries were woven pictures that hung on the walls…They were as colorful as they were beautiful.
Everything from the house decorations to even the meals were completely different!
Fish, herbs, and cured ham hung from the ceiling where they dried and could be used in the tasty dishes
Not only does the kitchen have…unusual…decorations but also setting the table was very strange as well
You used only knives and spoons, and your cup was made from an animal horn.
All in all, this one was another huge success. I absolutely LOVE the cover – it’s so cute!!
And it was so much fun to learn about the Middle Ages – makes me want to pick up more books about this era!
