Everyone knows Ben and Jerry – they are the masterminds behind the ice cream on every grocery’s shelves.
The truth about ice cream is that it is easy to make and there are no secrets.
But.
It wasn’t always like that.
Years and years ago, Ben & Jerry’s was just a couple of kids hoping to sell ice cream to college students on campus. They took a correspondence course in ice cream making and just hit the ground running.
But they never gave up. Slowly but surely they figured out the best way to make ice cream, tweaked the fillings and began marketing.
And this is their story.
Overall, this was so much fun to read.
I loved learning all about the history of the ice cream brand and watching the two of them develop their business.
I adored the illustrations – they were so much fun and brightened the book.
And I can’t wait to try out some of the recipes included in the back! They look yummy (and easy!!).
