Captain No Beard, his cousin Hallie and their youngest crewmember, Cayla, are ready for another adventure!
There’s a rumor about a treasure being located on Snake Island (though Hallie isn’t a fan of the “snake” part).
No one knows what the treasure is, but they all want to find out! BUT...there’s a storm on horizon.
And while there’s a plan in case of emergency…some of the crew members have some doubts.
“…Cabin Girl Cayla, our secret weapon,” Mongo offered.
They all looked at Cayla, who was calmly taking apart a rope.
Will they be able to survive Snake Island? Will they even find the treasure at all?

I’m adoring this Captain No Beard series and I’m really enjoying all the little adventures they go on.
Cayla is such a cute addition to the series and I’m so happy she’s joined the group.
This round, one of the reoccurring themes was how books can help with adventures (and I’m such a sucker for books about books).
“I read it in a book,” the parrot said, nodding wisely. “That’s how I learn everything, by reading.”
Polly the Parrot is quickly becoming my favorite!
All in all, I cannot wait to keep reading this series!
