Ohhhh my gosh. This one was a wild ride.
So, I didn’t know too much (okay, anything) about Janice before my quarantine America’s Next Top Model binge (I’m on cycle 22, by the way).
And I loved her personality on the show.
She was the unfiltered kind of funny – always with a snappy remark or cutthroat comment. While she went a little overboard a few times, she was definitely one of the better judges on the show.
So, when I saw that her book was available at my local library, I jumped at the chance to read it.
And this one – it kind of knocked the wind out of me.
We get a firsthand account of how she skyrocketed to fame and became one of the world’s first supermodels…but with those soaring highs came some of the deepest of lows.
I had no idea that she went through a childhood like that – and what it was like for her to break into the modeling world.
This book was really eye-opening and truly surprised me time and time again.
The audiobook was narrated by herself and I was blown away by the fab audio.
Janice is truly a great reader – she has a way with her voice of making you feel like she’s have a conversation with you (and only you).
